The research and article was done by William L.Hosch for the website Britannica. The article is about role-playing games and the history of them, citing many popular examples such as Fallout and Pokémon and talking about their evolution. How they were close to D&D and what they are like in recent times. The author created this article to give a condensed and well-informed history and evolution of RPG games. It was written on April 16th2009 and is based on Role-playing games.

Maria Konnikova, “ Why Gamers can’t stop playing First-Person Shooters”, The New Yorker. November 25th2013. www.newyorker.com

Maria Konnikova created the article for the media outlet The New Yorker. The article talks in detail the history of how First person games came about, thanks to doom and talks about dooms success and how it paved the way, The author proceeds to talk about why these games are popular with many audiences and how it's immersive and fun. The author created this article to talk about the history of the first-person game genre and why it is popular amongst gamers. It was written on November 25th2013. And is based on the genre of First-Person games.

Hello, I'm Nathan, a second-year student at ITB. I'm 20 years old and from Cavan. Game Vision Statement

Megaman style gameplay link:  Link to image The genre of game I was thinking of doing was a retro style platformer in the same vein as Mario or Mega Man. What I mean by that is the game will be a side-scroller with enemies and possibly bosses at the end, finding collectables and use power-ups. The gameplay will take a healthy mix of Mario and Mega Man. The gameplay will take the style of attacking and powerups and consumables like Mega Man with the simplistic and casual fun Mario provides. It's challenging but not annoying or frustrating to the point of forcing the player to quit.
